In collaboration with one of Britian's first and finest chocolatiers, Charbonnel et Walker!
To celebrate the brand's arrival in Hong Kong and the idea of "falling in love" with the city. I designed and illustrated a limited-edition heart-shaped chocolate truffle box exclusively for Valentine's Day.
Did you know? Charbonnel et Walker to hold a Royal Warrant and are an official manufacturer of chocolate to Queen Elizabeth II!

Rough pencil drafts for the food packaging design.
The brief was to create something that was inclusive of many different types of love and also celebrate being in love with the city of Hong Kong.
Elements we included are Hong Kong's famous delicacies, such as Egg Tarts and French Toast. As well as as the Star Ferry. The top of the box are two cupids with a dash of local flavour, together the two cupids hold a red silk knot often seen during traditional Chinese wedding ceremonies and can be wearing a jade bracelet.

The box designs will available forĀ both Charbonnel's signature pink Marc de Champagne flavour and the Valentine special sea salt hazelnut praline hearts.
And will be available from February 1 at Charbonnel et Walker pop-up in Prince Building in Hong Kong or via their online store.
